7th grade. Speech Class. we were asked to prepare an informative speech to present to the class.
Aromatherapy had always interested me... to think the olfactory senses could affect the psychological senses so strongly fascinated me.
7th Grade... I brought in a room diffuser and diffused a blend of lemon and orange essential oil the entire duration of my speech.
To close, (7th grade Christi thought this was a GENIUS idea.. ) I told the class about citrus oils and their effects on focus.
Ta Da!!! 🤣
Point being, I have been intrigued by scent and it's role in human psychology and physiology. I love imagining a scent, breaking it down, and adjusting the fragrance until it's exactly what I imagined in my olfactory mind.
I made lotions and body wash for Christmas gifts last year. Fragrances were: gingerbread, woodsy, candy cane, chocolate orange, strawberry cheesecake and lemon meringue scents with my limited repertoire of essential oils.
The feedback included a surprising percentage of individuals who said I should sell this stuff, so here we are! 😁
